Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Representative to join our finance team, with a primary focus on collections and payment follow-ups. This role is responsible for managing outstanding customer balances, initiating contact with clients regarding overdue invoices, and ensuring timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, persistence, and a customer-service mindset to maintain positive client relationships while effectively reducing aged receivables.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor aging reports and identify delinquent accounts
  • Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue payments
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve billing disputes
  • Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with the billing and sales teams to resolve account discrepancies
  • Escalate unresolved accounts to management or third-party collection agencies as needed














Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and tact
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work graveyard shifts and during Philippine holidays

Education & Experience

  • Completion of an accounting-related course is a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections

  • Ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods of computer and phone work

Working Environment

  • 5 days on site training
  • Permanent work from home
