We are seeking a Product Owner, Product Market Solutions, will focus on monitoring, analyzing, and documenting market trends across specific assigned regions of the world.

What You'll Do 

A successful Product Owner, Product Market Solutions will be accountable for supporting market growth within key APAC markets. The work you do will involve a deep understanding of the First Advantage products, customer needs, competitive and local market landscapes and requirements. This role will have a strong focus on building partnerships with the APAC Client Success and Sales teams to drive growth and excellent outcomes for our clients.

More specifically, the individual in this role will: 
  • Act as an ambassador for the APAC products internally and externally, and as the primary contact and subject matter expert for the product.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of assigned APAC geographic jurisdictions, identifying emerging trends, risks, and opportunities by collecting and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to support product strategies.
  • Support Product organization on enhancements related to core markets
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product roadmap is aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Partner with Product Marketing in creating white papers and blog posts to assist in providing content demonstrating usage, success and improvement opportunities across strategic products, verticals and/ jurisdictions
  • Formulate and maintain best practice recommendations by APAC jurisdiction
  • Share regional insights and learnings with global product teams to inform platform strategy and encourage cross-regional alignment.
 
What You May Need to be Successful:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology field
  • Minimum 2+ experience with background screening industry (preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years in a business analyst or product role
  • Strong Technical skills - can speak with and motivate the development team with ideas and thoughts
  • Ideally should have been in a BA role for 5+ years before moving into product owner 
  • Experience in building and presenting business cases & project plans
  • Have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal (in English)
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility as well as the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and FA product solution tools - JIRA, Confluence, Optimizely and others
  • Must be a team player and also should be target oriented
