The Senior Graphic Designer reports is an upper-level creative role, working in a team approach with other Designers, Marketing, Web, Social and Corporate Communications on a variety of projects and assignments. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who can process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner as they arise. They are experienced in managing projects and maintaining processes, coaching and reviewing the work of the other graphic designers, a team player with a positive attitude, have a strong work ethic and can work collaboratively and independently while being able to shift gears quickly. They are highly seasoned in all relevant Adobe creative products, print, digital, web and some video, and experienced in leading brainstorming and idea creation/solutions.

What You'll Do:
  • Create compelling visual designs for multiple types of deliverables including but not limited to: print, digital, web, email, video and PowerPoint.
  • Independently formulate concepts, themes and approaches to support the communication objectives of internal stakeholders.
  • Work in collaboration with internal clients, external vendors and production staff to conceptualize creative initiatives. Including interfacing and collaborating with C-level and Sr. Executive team.
  • Assist and/or leads with communicating and integrating our brand strategy with other teams to deliver in line with global brand aspirations.
  • Leads and participates in brainstorming sessions.
  • Intermediate understanding of metrics used to drive create insights, brand performance and engagement.
  • Advocate and ensure compliance of brand strategy and tone of voice relating to creative expression of our brands.
  • Assist with agency, contractor and freelancer relationships.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the globe to set, deliver and achieve creative strategy and ensure consistent global brand output.
  • Effectiveness of this position is evaluated based on quarterly/yearly KPIs.
  • Miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.

What You Will Need to be Successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years working in an in-house creative department, design firm or agency.
  • Experience working with different stakeholders and setting expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to take constructive criticism. (No big egos)
  • Expert knowledge in graphic production process and tools.
  • Works well with tight deadlines in a team environment.
  • Works independently under limited supervision on entire projects from start to finish.
  • Adaptable and quick learner. Must be able to apply style guide creatively while upholding brand identity.
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Limited budgetary experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Suite
  • Expert knowledge of process from concept to press/digital/video publication
  • Expert knowledge of graphic preparation for print/web/email/video-based publications
  • Expert sense of typography, idea-based design, layout, user interface design and usability principles
  • Advance knowledge of HTML/CSS, video production and animated graphics
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of creative solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of Mac operating systems and applications

The salary range for this position is approximately $80,000-105,000 base annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
