What You'll Do:
The ACA Tax Consultant will retain and grow client revenue by consultatively managing customer relationships. Leverage knowledge of federal and state ACA regulations to recommend best practices and minimize customer risk. Partner with Product and Development resources to enhance and improve existing ACA customer accessible products and internally used tools. Assist in growth efforts by creating prospect informational materials and host demos to educate prospects on ACA services.
This is a 100% work from home position. Individual must be authorized and working from the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Provide best practice recommendations and consultative advice to customers surrounding federal and state ACA stipulations, keep customers informed of changes to regulations and deadlines, answer all customer inquiries within 24 hours
- Review, QA, and load customer benefit files
- Organize and host regular client calls and QBRs
- Implement new ACA customers
- Compile ACA sales material and present service offerings to prospects, demo ACA dashboard to clients and prospects, create proposals and respond to RFPs
- Research and stay informed regarding ACA deadlines and changes to requirements
What You May Need to be Successful:
- College Degree or equivalent work experience.BS in Accounting or Finance, preferred - CPA/JD/MST/LLM Taxation a plus
- Familiarity with CCH Tax Research, RIA and other tax research tools.
- Understand and have worked with ACA compliance
- Ability to interpret and apply statutory and regulatory guidelines and requirements
- Strong data analytics skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Sense of urgency to meet client and state deadlines
- Highly responsive and adaptable to evolving priorities
- Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic team environment as well as act independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Organizational skills and strong attention to detail

The salary for this position is approximately $60-63K USD annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
