What You'll Do
A successful Senior DevOps Engineer will own initiatives that include but are not limited to the below:
- Develop and Enhance IaC Automation Pipelines: Write and improve code to create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.
- System Architecture Design and Review: Participate in the design and review of system architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud products and services.
- Scrum Participation: Actively engage in scrum activities, including planning, prioritizing tasks, and reporting on the current state of the product to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Scripting and Coding: Utilize scripting and coding skills to automate processes, improve workflows, and enhance the overall efficiency of DevOps practices.
- Performance Monitoring and Management: Implement and manage application performance monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance of cloud applications and services, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
- 4-6 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure and applications
- Previous experience working with serverless technologies in public clouds (with a preference for Azure)
- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Technical knowledge of Terraform, with the ability to create and manage infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of least one scripting language (Python, Bash etc) with the capability to develop and maintain automation
- Experience designing and configuring cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Thorough understanding of core networking concepts such as DNS, routing, etc..
- Experience designing and configuring cloud storage (AWS S3, Azure Storage Accounts/Blobs/Tables/etc…)
- Knowledge in Applications and Application Designs (.NET, Java and others) will be a bonus
