Position Description


To be responsible for month end process, Fixed Assets Management, monthly/quarterly statutory reporting and support audit process.
 
The nature, scope and tasks of this position

Full accountability of the month end process against the company’s reporting timetable.
Month end journals including payroll, prepayment, leases, accruals and depreciation.
Review the P&L for reasonableness and identify material coding adjustments as required.
Prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and implement and monitor the financial controls that support this.
Support in the preparation and review of monthly financial reports in compliance with statutory requirements and management reports to assist decision makers by providing accurate and timely information on company’s performance. To include:
profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, revenue reports, monthly cost of good sold reporting, and any other reports as required by management to effectively and efficiently manage the business
Preparation and review of intercompany reconciliations
Preparation of Statutory reports including STPI Reporting, Statutory Reporting, Direct Tax Reporting,
- Deferred Tax Working, 

Prepay monthly payroll journals and reconciliations.
Support through the audit process for entities of multiple jurisdictions.
Support daily operations of India business.
Assist in the installation of accounting, ERP systems and other ad hoc projects.
 
  1. Required Skills/Related Knowledge & Experience

    NetSuite experience highly desirable
    A minimum of 9 years’ experience of month end close process, financial systems, financial reporting and financial data analysis
    Inter CA or MBA
    Professional written and verbal communication skills
    Advanced computer literacy - Microsoft Office suite of products including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel
    Superior time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
    A strong focus on accuracy and high attention to detail
    Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
    Continuous improvement mindset
